Unleash your creativity by making wearable art using recycled, upcycled, reused, scrap, trash, thrifted or other used materials. Win prizes, build community and help bring awareness to the importance of protecting our environment.
Rules:
- Please submit by September 1st, 2026
- Check in at the trashion fashion tent between 11:30 and 12:00 pm the day of the fair, Saturday September 19th.
- All ages, anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present if participating in the show.
- Recycled, upcycled, thrifted, reused or scrap materials only, no new materials. The exception is fasteners such as tape & safety pins.
- No hazardous or dangerous materials.
- This event champions inclusivity and encourages diversity. Please respect all participants, judges, audience members and volunteers.
- Categories for judging include: Creativity, Originality, Craftsmanship, Sustainability, Showmanship. Extra points available for recycled accessories.
